"Here is a fact, your AP will be the person who steps into your most vulnerable place. They will know your success, secrets, and shame. Therefore, making a sound and good decision on who you allow your AP to be, should be the highest priority."

"However, I loved the dispatcher, because they knew how to navigate through the panic, and get right to the problem. In other words, while you’re screaming, they’re solving." "I believe that there are some relationships in our lives not because they give us what we want. Rather, they teach us what we need." You name it, I tried it? Productivity apps, alarms, charts, spreadsheets, task accounts, books, deleting ‘distracting’ apps, shutting down my social media (yeah, that’s why I did it), working overnight, and a host of other aimless things. All in an attempt to fix a problem that I was too proud to admit and too ashamed to ask for help with. So, here’s the question: if I’m already challenged by my mandatory and very necessary truth, why in the world would I then seek additional and very unnecessary pain, by concerning myself with what EVERYBODY thinks of me? However, there is a growing notion, that if your past and sadly, even present experiences within America are the opposite of grand... If you, with full knowledge of that truth, begin to express your discontent with YOUR American experience; there is a growing number of people that would then label you as being un-American. Fact: “Depression is a serious medical illness; it is not something that you've made up in your head.” If a Christian can have cancer, HIV, shingles, a cold, and MS; then certainly they can suffer with depression. Depression is real and if we don’t deal with it, it will deal with us. Understand that your palms are sweaty because you’re trying to figure out what you can say, to make everything better. News flash: you can’t. Well, some would say “don’t vote at all.” However, as I considered all of those whose blood was shed for me to have this electoral right, I don’t see how I could allow a weak ballot, to be my justification for not casting one. Meetings are a place for communicating vision, assigning and assessing action items, creating plans, and improving processes. It goes without saying that meetings are an irreplaceable part of your ministry's success; however, they can also be very unproductive, draining, and void of purpose. |
