Colossians 3:14, “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”(ESV)
After all, it wasn’t every day that people even noticed him; let alone, offered conversation or a cordial handshake. Juan nervously asked, “Are you the police? Because, I’m not looking for any…”
“No”, Carlos softly interrupted. “I’m a student at VSU. I’m actually pretty hungry and I wanted to see if you’d like to join me for a meal?”

Without hesitation, Carlos said (as if he knew Juan needed to hear it), “I’m all ears.”
Juan sighed, smiled, and went on to do something that he hadn’t done in ages; something he felt he would never do again: he told Carlos his story.

He detailed his success, his fast-tracked promotions, and even his elaborately decorated office, which interestingly was only 4 blocks from their very location. He passionately told him about the cars he used to own with great detail and accurate specificity for each make and model. He talked about his…
