Here's healing. If you fall off your bike and scrape your knee, you don't bandage the wound before cleaning it. You instead deal with the impurities. Why? You do this so that you can promote greater purity, despite the harm.
(Brace with me, this is a long one. However, I pray that the end and the learning are both worth your time.)
On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, thousands of attendees gathered in Freedom Plaza to participate in the Save America March.” Per the President, the march was designed for “patriots” to stand against the fraudulent results of the “stolen” 2020 Presidential election.

The United States of America was founded on a promise.
The founding leaders gathered on July 4, 1776, to officially approve the nation’s Declaration of Independence. The Congress, assembled at the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia, PA, to scribe and ratify the document that would explain why the Thirteen Colonies at war with the Kingdom of Great Britain, were now deemed independent sovereign states. I woke up this morning, in a deep pondering about what exactly this blog’s purpose should be. This thought led to prayer, and this prayer led to this. "However, as I consider the political landscape of our nation, I believe that this race (and races like it) will only cause the American divide to get worse." However, there is a growing notion, that if your past and sadly, even present experiences within America are the opposite of grand... If you, with full knowledge of that truth, begin to express your discontent with YOUR American experience; there is a growing number of people that would then label you as being un-American. God told me in His Word that “…My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.” (cf. Isaiah 55:18 / NIV) |
