This Sunday, I watched as Jimmy Johnson, the former coach of the Dallas Cowboys, was informed of his pending induction into the NFL Hall of Fame as a member of the inducted class of 2020. In the process of telling him, those in attendance cheered gleefully, and it was clear that he was undeniably emotional. Former players like Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman all looked on, as Coach Johnson did his best to compose himself and express appreciation for this great honor.

If you were a hip-hop enthusiast in the year 2019, then you certainly knew, DaBaby.
DaBaby, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, is 28 years of age.

365 days later, and here we are. In less than 24 hours the year of 2019 will be history.

December is always a particular month for me. Naturally, I enjoy all of the typical things that most people love about the month. The crisp feel of cold weather, the joy of Christmas time, and the pending start of a new year. However, this month is always extra special for me. The month of December carries a few commemorative celebrations that I uniquely enjoy.

I'm not sure if you know this or not (and I know you do), but the internet is proving to be bad for your health. Specifically, social media. Even more specific, mental health.
Senior Contributor, Alice G. Walton, composed an article for Forbes called "New Studies Show Just How Bad Social Media is for Mental Health." Within the writing, she outlined specifically how sites like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter were aiding in the decline of its user's mental well-being. The article talks about several studies done by universities and researchers concerning social media and its impacts on our mental health. 
"We’ve entered into a weird space in our society where just about anybody could profess to be an advocate of God, and just about anybody would believe and accompany them."
You’d have to be very out of touch with pop culture to have missed the most recent change in the musical expression of Kanye West.
For a while now, Kanye West has been a roller coaster for his fans and devotees of hip-hop culture. He early amassed a “rock star” following, thanks to his witty lyricism, icon production, and a confidence that would not move. He’s responsible for nine studio albums; he has over 20 million in record sales and over 90 million in digital downloads. Kanye has performed with and produced for artists like JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Talib Kweli, the RZA, and even Janet Jackson. He amplified the career of Twista and introduced us to the roster of G.O.O.D. Music. Say what you want about him, but know that his bust in the hip-hop hall of fame is undoubtedly undeniable.

Question: Why do bad things happen to good people?
This may undoubtedly be the question of the ages. Why do things that seem so terrible happen to people who seem to be so good? Well, I'll have to be honest with you, I think the exact answer to this question belongs only to God. However, I've been meditating on this question, and I do believe that there's a reasonable hypothesis. 
"However, it's essential that we humbly acknowledge the words within James 1:20 which says, "For human anger does not accomplish God's righteousness."(CSB)."
Fact: everybody gets angry. By accurate definition, the word 'anger' is defined as "a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility." Wikipedia takes anger to a higher mark by adding that "the emotion anger, also known as wrath or rage, is an intense emotional state. It involves a strong uncomfortable and hostile response to a perceived provocation, hurt, or threat."
"However, until we start a dialogue with the uninformed who hope to become allies, I believe it will never be trendy, only tragic."
It has been said that the conversation about “mental illness” in the 21st century, is one that’s become trendy and chic.
Yeah (sigh), okay. In fairness, I understand why such a thought may exist. I believe this notion stands because for the first time in our western society, conversations about mental health are actually happening, and (even better) they’re accepted. No, we aren’t talking about mental health now because it’s some new phenomenon. Make no mistake about it, I believe that the need to address mental health, has been a real-world matter for as long as mankind has been in existence. 
"This means, He sees my yesterday, today, and all of my tomorrows, with the same clarity as you see this post. This means that He knows that what I want today, may not be beneficial for my tomorrow."
Moment of Truth: There are a few issues that cause people to become hesitant in their decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ. They question their ability to “measure up” (which isn’t a real thing by the way), they question their need for “church and religion” (which we will definitely have to unpack soon), and most of all, they question the reliability of the Bible and the existence of God.
